THE GALLERIE COMMERCIALI ITALIA APP CHANGES LOOK
For the restyling of the official Gallerie Commerciali Italia App, available for all 43 Auchan shopping centres in Italy, we adopted the guidelines of UX Design with the aim of increasing satisfaction and customer loyalty, improving the usability and the product. We rebuilt the App both structurally and graphically using a “flat” design that reflects the latest trends for iOS and Android systems.
In 3 pilot centres, as part of the project of digitising certain shopping centres, we dealt with the development of some interactive “features” that allow the App and the user to dialogue directly with innovative multimedia totems installed within the individual Centres.
The user can connect to the free wireless network, covering the whole Shopping Centre, with a touch.
The user can vote for the tracks in a playlist, which will be broadcast via the Shopping Centre’s cable radio in the following hour, thus creating the soundtrack to their shopping.

By approaching one of the multimedia totems and activating Bluetooth, the user will display the offers of the stores in the Centre on their App.
